Sooooooo, fox asked me to help him out as a marshal during the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) Finals for Counter-Strike this weekend and of course i said yes ! Actually he asked me earlier, which means i have to work every weekend for the whole month of May and i didn’t want that so i just took the finals which was this week.

Well, it was a bit easier compared to WCG last year cause at least we still get to fool around a bit and still get to sit down while marshalling. But, it was still as tiring cause of the stairs -_-” Friday was real tiring cause the matches went on till night but as Saturday came, things began to ease a bit as there aren’t as many teams playing anymore.

As for today, it was just the 3rd placing and finals, then the prize giving and speech stuff and then we’re let off at around 6pm. Marshalling for ESWC is fun as well ! Heheh =P Heard there’s gonna be a Quake 4 tourney which will be held at the same place, Clutch Gamers, soon. I wanna marshal for that too but fox said he won’t let me cause i’m gonna PARTICIPATE in the tourney. -_-” Neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, unless he becomes my coach. LOL

Anyway, another 300+kms for before my car finishes running in ! Yaay ! =D

I’ve been without my car for the past 3 weeks. Time really flied, heheh actually i think my car should’ve been out earlier if it wasn’t for me adding stuff. But my car is coming out today ! Hopefully there won’t be any problems with it now. I asked my mechanic about the run-in period for my car and he said it’s only 1000km not 5000km as i mentioned earlier, so that’s a yaay for me ! =D Should finish that in a week or two, heheh =P

Anyway, about the jazz, i think i’ll try to find out when the facelifted one is coming over here before making a decision. I read the JFFC forums stating that they’re expecting the facelift to make a debut here somewhere in June. Oh well, things might change and i might just settle for a 2nd hand one in the end but who knows? Heheh, as long as i get the Jazz =P

Collected my car just now and it really feels great ! Although i couldn’t push my car, but the feeling of accelerating to overtake a car on 5th gear was totally different from before. The pedal feels lighter and more responsive compared to the time before i did my overhaul. Maybe it was “something” that i did to the engine too, bwahahhaha =P Now i gotta run in the engine as soon as possible then i can start full throttling ! >=)

Actually, i’m quite glad that my car broke down (but of course not THAT glad that it broke down on the way back from Genting -_-”). That actually gave me the chance to finally overhaul (gotta hate the run-in period) my engine . I don’t even know when was the last time this engine was overhauled and how many kms has this engine went through with the previous 2 owners, hahah.

Anyway, since my car IS already in the workshop, might as well i add some stuffs into the engine right? bwahahahah and of course, it’s not gonna be revealed here. Gonna be a suprise for everyone or maybe it’ll be kept a secret till my friends find out by themselves which i doubt they will unless i tell them =P

The thing i’m gonna miss most would be the mileage i get on my engine for a full tank of petrol. I bet it’s gonna go a little high on the fuel consumption part after this, but i can’t be sure about that till i get my car back, which will be early next week i hope. =) Time seriously flies. Before i know it, it’s already been almost 2 weeks without my car. It’s quite hard since my car my main transport of moving around =\ But luckily, the workshop confirmed with me that i’ll get back my car next week ! Hopefully it’ll all go smooth.

On another note, my mum’s car might be sold soon and MOST probably, my dad will be getting a Honda Jazz finally ! A drive-able car, hahaha ! And this car, i GOTTA mod, but of course i’ll keep it simple. A set of 16 or 17″ rims and HIDs will do since the bodykit already comes stock on the VTEC variants of the Jazz. But if i get the chance to, i would really wanna install a full Buddy Club bodykit on the Jazz =D Now i’m just looking for one that already comes modded (the rims and HIDs) so i don’t really have to spend money on the Jazz. =D I hope it’ll come soon !

Okay, it’s confirmed ! I’m gonna overhaul my engine. It’s either i change to another engine, or overhaul the current engine. Both gonna cost about the same but of course to overhaul is gonna take longer, but i get new parts. So i’ve decided..overhaul is the way to go =D Looks like i’m gonna be car-less for 2 weeks. And not to forget the amount of time i gotta run in my engine =\

Oh well, anyone got an extra car that i could loan? =P

Was up in Genting with the Pro-Hatchers last weekend. I wasn’t planning on staying overnight with them so i came down quite early in the morning, at about 4am. That’s when my car starting having problems. First the car’s idling became very low and the engine kept on stalling. Then my car’s engine couldn’t start so i thought it was the battery problem. I kept on trying and then my engine started, i continued driving and the idling is still very low and i keep hearing a knocking noise coming from the engine, so i stopped and opened my bonnet to check on it.

Turns out that a T-joint for my oil temperature and oil pressure sensors broke so all the oil spilled out leaving my engine totally dry. Had no choice but to tow it back to my house first since the workshop doesn’t open on Sundays and Monday is a public holiday =\ Got the car towed to the workshop first thing on Tuesday morning and then the mech said that most probably the engine is jammed so i might have to change the engine again =\ Well, looks like i won’t have my car for another 2-3 weeks. =(
