Engine that dropped onto my foot = pain.

Ow ! Well, not dropped from a height, but i was dragging it on the floor and the engine lost it’s balance and just toppled over onto my foot. It was nothing at first but when i moved my foot, i felt a stinging pain and then immediately took my boots off. I see a swelling coming up very very fast, hahaha =P Anyway, i went to the doctor and he said it was nothing and gave me the day off. This happened 2 days ago though. Luckily i had my safety boots on, if not i bet my toes would’ve been gone by now.

edit : Not to forget, tomorrow is my last day of training ! So many things to do after that but so little time !

The Renault F1 Pit Party - DJ Tiesto’s In Search of Sunrise 5

Posted in Random on March 19th, 2006

Well, yesterday night was my VERY first Rave Party in my whole life. And about 2 weeks ago, i was contemplating on whether i should go to this party or not, but last week, i finally decided that i should be there. I’m no big fan of Tiesto or something but actually i just wanted to get the feel of what a Rave feels like.

Anyway, we left my friend’s place at around 7pm to the venue, KLIA Limousine Shuttle Bay somewhere nearby the Sepang F1 Circuit. When we reached there at around 8pm, a band called the Derb & Drum Connection was already playing there. They were quite good actually, and that was enough to get quite some ppl started. Another thing that i saw was the amount of people wearing Phat pants. I seriously didn’t KNOW shuffling was that big of a thing here in Malaysia until yesterday. =X

When Tiesto started spinning at around 10.30pm, the whole place became extremely packed and i’m not sure where everyone came from -_-” There wasn’t even enough place to move around not to mention dance. Then ppl started walking through the crowds, pushing everyone around making it even worse. At not-so-crowded places, there were many ppl shuffling their legs out.

The drinks’ prices were crazy. A mineral water bottle and a coke can costs RM5 each, which a bottle/can of Heineken beer will cost you RM15. Food? Same thing. Crazy price. Anyway, Tiesto was great, the beginning everyone was really hyped up but somewhere in the middle, a singer came out and started adding vocals to the mixes, that was the part where i didn’t really like listening to.

I was hopping from place to place with different group of friends. Although i only joined Spongefox and gang once, then after that i just followed my other group of friends around. We were going from left to right, front to back but i didn’t really want to go right in front of the stage cause it was really really crowded. Lots of stoners were around the crowds too -_-” And i thought everyone had to empty their pockets during the security check at the entrance.

Towards the end of it, at around 2.30am, i can see most of the ppl sitting down by the sides too tired from shuffling or dancing. Some ppl were even leaving the place, most probably to avoid the crowd leaving when Tiesto finishes spinning, but as expected, Tiesto spun Traffic as his finale. When i heard Traffic starting, everyone sitting at the sides got up and started jumping around again. LOL

For my very first ever experience in a rave party, i would say that it’s DAMN fun, and i really would want to go for the next one in the near future. Tiring but fun. This week was really really good. Thursday i was in Bar Savanh for the Toyota Rev Party, although wasn’t THAT good but still nice, then Friday was the Redzone Party in Sepang too with ATB, but i didn’t go for that one, then DJ Tiesto was yesterday.

The next event, The Loft. I’m proud to say that one member in Pro-Hatch is actually a DJ and he’ll be spinning in Loft that night and we’re all invited to go listen to him spin. I bet it’s gonna be fun as usual, chilling out with the guys in a club and all.

The pictures are quite bad in quality cause i totally forgot to bring my digital camera yesterday so i had to use my phone camera. Anyway, my training ends in 2 weeks time and then i’ll have lots of free time to catch up on a lot of stuffs i’ve been missing out on for the past 3 months. =) But the where-and-what-to-study thing is STILL giving me a headache now. Arghh.

Fight the fuel price increase !

Posted in Random on March 11th, 2006

Yeah yeah, i know the fuel price in Malaysia increased to RM1.92 per litre about 2 weeks ago and now i’m not feeling lazy to take a picture of this and post =P This is one good way to fight the recent fuel price hike and any other future hikes ! Strip the stuff that won’t be used from your car, hahah !

I stripped off my rear seats, and took out my subwoofer and boy, what a big difference it made. Especially the subwoofer. I didn’t know it is THAT heavy, heheh. =P Actually i was thinking of just stripping it for fun and put everything back a week later, but since it’s proven that it saves me petrol due to less weight, i think i might just leave it like that, hahaha. A few friends followed me by stripping the rear too !

OMG, so close !
